Incident at Thunder Bay, Ontario

Summary

1997-04-01: Shortly after take-off the crew of the S76 helicopter, C-GIMZ, observed a low oil pressure reading on the number one engine. The crew shut down the affected engine and returned to Thunder Bay where an uneventful landing was made. The helicopter was undamaged. Maintenance found a faulty oil pressure indication system.
