Incident at Thunder Bay, Ontario

Summary

1997-04-01: Shortly after take-off the crew of a Wasaya Air Beech 200 noticed the left engine oil pressure light momentarily flicker, then come on steady. The crew shut down and secured the engine and returned safely to Thunder Bay. Maintenance traced the fault to a loose fitting on an oil pressure line running to the oil cooler. The cause of the loose fitting is under investigation. There were two crew and one passenger on board.
