Incident at Winnipeg, Manitoba
Summary
1997-04-01: Perimeter 604, a Swearingen SA226-TC Metro II, departed Muskeg Lake, Ontario on a flight to Winnipeg. Shortly after departure, the crew received a low-hydraulic-pressure warning and noticed that system pressure was dropping toward zero. The crew flew the aircraft to Winnipeg and carried out a flapless landing without further incident with ERS standing by. Engineers found that a line from the starboard engine hydraulic pump had failed. The line was replaced and the aircraft returned to service. The operator plans to submit an SDR to TC.
