1997-04-01: The Cessna 150G, C-FDPP, was at 700 feet AGL and engaged in aerial cattle spotting activities over a community pasture in the vicinity of Plunkett, Saskatchewan. The aircraft's engine lost power and the pilot carried out a forced landing in a nearby field. During the landing the nose gear folded and the aircraft overturned. The pilot was uninjured. The aircraft sustained substantial damage. The aircraft was airborne for approximately four hours. The pilot suspects fuel exhaustion.
