Incident at LaRonge, Saskatchewan
Summary
1997-03-27: The pilot of the Beech 1900 was enroute IFR from McArthur Mine direct to Prince Albert. The pilot diverted to La Ronge due to a loss of the left engine and landed on runway 35 without further incident. There were 16 passengers, plus 2 crew. There were no injuries and no damage to the aircraft. UPDATE The left engine low pressure fuel pump was replaced and the aircraft returned to service. The unserviceable pump is being returned to the manufacturer for analysis.
