Accident at 18 NM West of Regina, Sask.

1996-03-19: The pilot reported that a loss of aircraft control occurred after he had flown over a friend's farm. The pilot of the Piper Pawnee had completed a spraying operation shortly before his fly pass. The aircraft crashed and burned, however the pilot escaped unharmed due in part to the crash worthiness of the aircraft and the fact that the pilot was wearing a helmet. TSB are looking into the possibility of a C/G shift rearward once the load of chemical had been sprayed.
