Incident at St. Andrews, Manitoba

Summary

1997-03-27: C-FUNS, a Beech D95A (Regency Aviation Ltd.) was cleared for takeoff from Rwy 36 at St. Andrews Airport. The aircraft did not rotate and continued 400 feet off the end of the runway. 2 SOBS and 80 gallons fuel. Wind was 240/03 with visibility 3 miles in rain. Update: The pilot rejected the take off when the airspeed indicator intially stopped at 60 MPH and then dropped to zero. The aircraft received minor damage from striking the approach light poles. There were no injuries to the pilot or passenger.
