Summary
1996-03-21: ACA166, a EA32 Airbus A320 (Air Canada), 35NM west of Brandon at FL370, requested descent and rerouting to Winnipeg due to a cracked windscreen. The aircraft landed Rwy 36 safely at 1734Z. Update: Investigation revealed that the windshield maintained its structural integrity and the lattice type fracture was restricted to the inner laminations of the shield assembly.
