Incident at Sioux Lookout, Ontario
Summary
1996-03-21: C-GPEM, a BE99 (Bearskin Lake Air Service Ltd.) departed Sioux Lookout IFR and when 4.5 miles out of Sioux Lookout had a near miss with an unknown PA31 at approx 3500 - 4000 ft. Unknown PA31 was reported to be yellow and beige with brown tail. Registration unknown. Sioux Lookout FSS, Thunder Bay FSS and Winnipeg Centre all had no contact with the PA31 on any frequency. Passed to Regulatory Compliance for consideration/action as appropriate.
