Incident at Thompson, Manitoba
Summary
1997-03-21: C-GDOP, Hawker Siddeley,HS748 Series 2A, Calm Air International Ltd. (Calm Air) indicated hydraulic leak in landing gear. Landing gear appeared normal. Aircraft landed without incident 1925Z. Update: From that inspection it was determined that there was no actual hydraulic leak, but that an instrument sensing unit had failed to perform correctly. Corrections were made and the aircraft was returned to service.
