Incident at Saskatoon, Saskatchewan


1997-03-21: The pilot of TAF1350, a Fokker F28 MK1000, C-GTAH, reported hydraulic problems due to blown retreaded front tire. Rwy 09/27 closed due to disabled aircraft at 1572Z until 1624Z. Aircraft landed safely at 1527Z. Update: It was determined that the tire tread separated on takeoff and a piece of the tread had damaged a hydraulic line causing the warning light to illuminate.
