Incident at WINNIPEG / JAMES ARMSTRONG RICHARDSON INTL MB (CYWG)

Summary

1997-03-21: GAF054 a EA31 inbound from Kohlbonn to Winnipeg advised Winnipeg ACC of nose gear problems (unsure if gear down and locked). Pilot advised that the aircraft would have to be towed off runway after landing. Pilot would not provide SOB or FOB and did not want CFR. Fire Captain declared a minor standby. Aircraft landed Rwy 18 safely at 1802Z and turned off onto Taxi C. Aircraft was towed to Apron 1. BLS361 experienced a minor delay. Airport Duty Manager advised after discussions with crew after landing that GAF054 had a total hydraulic failure.
