Incident at 30 Mi.E of Empress, Sask.

Summary

1997-03-21: While enroute Winnipeg from Calgary at FL370, the crew reported that the #3 engine overheat light illuminated. The crew secured the engine and returned to Calgary where an uneventful landing occurred. Company maintenance determined that a clamp had come loose in the ducting which caused the heat sensors to activate. The aircraft is back in service.
