Incident at THUNDER BAY ON (CYQT)
Summary
1997-03-21: While fighting a prescribed burn, the crew of the CL215 noted a vibration in the left engine. The crew aborted their mission and returned to Thunder Bay under reduced power. The aircraft landed safely without further incident. Maintenance determined that the #8 cyclinder had swallowed a valve which necessitated a piston and cylinder change.
