at ll East Buffalo Narrows,Sask.
Summary
1997-03-21: While enroute to Buffalo Narrows from Patuanak Lake, the pilot noted a large popping and shuddering coming from the engine. A precautionary landing was accomplished into a swampy area without further incident. Company maintenance inspected the engine and were unable to determine the problem. The aircraft was slung to Buffalo Narrows where further inspection the of engine was conducted. It appears that a compressor malfunction was the problem which may result in an engine change.
