Incident at Thompson, Manitoba


1996-04-23: The pilot and four company employees departed Gods Lake Narrows enroute Thompson. Shortly after reaching cruise altitude, the pilot reported a loss of power on the left engine of the Cessna 402. The pilot secured the engine and continued to destination where an uneventful landing was accomplished. Company maintenance determined that a catastrophic power plant failure occurred.
