Incident at SIOUX LOOKOUT ON (CYXL)

Summary

1997-03-21: Bearskin Lake Air Service flight 345, on a routine scheduled flight to Kenora from Thunder Bay, advised ATC that they were experiencing a landing gear malfunction. The crew, in consultation with company maintenance, diverted the aircraft to Sioux Lookout. The landing gear was manually lowered and the aircraft landed without further incident. There was no damage or injuries to either the aircraft or passengers. There were two crew and 11 passengers on board.
