Incident at Kawinogans Lake, Ontario
Summary
1997-03-21: The pilot of C-GOTD, a Cessna 185, was inbound to Pickle Lake, Ontario from Sioux Lookout, reported an engine failure and was not able to make it to the airport. The aircraft landed safely on Kawinogans Lake, approximately 12 WSW of Pickle Lake. Company aircraft C-FCZO a DH3 was able to assist and pick up the pilot, the only sole on board. C-FCZO arrived at Pickle Lake at 0003Z. There are no reports of injuries or damage.
