Incident at Ignace, Ontario

Summary

1997-03-21: C-GOHY, a Star 350, was slinging three sections of steel utility poles along an Ontario Hydro right-of-way when the rigging securing one of the poles failed. One pole section of approximately 500 pounds was dropped. The pilot, the lone occupant of the helicopter was uninjured and the helicopter sustained no damage.
