Summary
1996-05-10: Shortly after take off from runway 270 at Saskatoon, the pilots of a single engine Beech Debonair advised tower that they had just experienced a catastrophic power plant failure and were returning to land on runway 090. They advised that the wind screen was streaming over with oil and that smoke was coming from the engine. CFR was advised, the aircraft landed safely and the runway was closed for 20 minutes.
