Summary

1997-03-18: Enroute from Halifax to St. John's, Nfld. the pilot advised of a medical emergency requiring an ambulance on standby.No TSB involvement. UPDATE - The Captain had become sick and was incapacitated. The aircraft diverted to Sydney Airport where the First Officer landed the aircraft safely. The Captain was taken to hospital for tests.
