Incident at HALIFAX / STANFIELD INTL NS (CYHZ) (Conflict - loss of separation)
Summary
1996-07-09: The SW3 was vectored to runway 24. Unable to intercept the localizer, the pilot flew through it at 2200 feet continuing south of the runway. The DH8 departed runway 15 and conflicted with the arriving SW3. Halifax terminal was unable to establish communication with the control tower in time to avert the conflict. No TSB involvement.
