Incident at Lance Aux Meadows, Nfld.
Summary
1997-03-20: The pilot of the helicopter received a "low fuel" caution light and 8 seconds later the #1 engine flamed out. A successful single engine landing was carried out to a clearing near a road. After loading fuel, a test flight was conducted and the helicopter returned to service. Maintenance is checking the fuel indicators to determine their accuracy. TSB case closed.
