Incident at Moncton, N.B.

Summary

1997-03-20: The pilot declared an emergency due to smoke in the cockpit. Landed safely. Maintenance determined that there was a crack in the crankshaft which allowed oil to come in contact with the hot engine resulting in smoke that was sucked into the cockpit. TSB case closed.
