Incident at Gander, Nfld.

Summary

1997-03-20: After departure a complete hydraulic system failure was experienced. The aircraft returned to Gander and landed without incident. Maintenance found that the main hydraulic line for the left landing gear up lock had broken, resulting in a depletion of the main system hydraulic fluid. The line was replaced, system serviced and the aircraft was returned to service. TSB case closed.
