Incident at Approx 20nm West of Fredericton

Summary

1997-03-20: ATL428 was IFR from Frederiction to Saint John at 7000 feet. An unknown VFR aircraft was detected 20nm West of FC eastbound at 7000 feet. The Jetstream was vectored to remain clear of the VFR traffic and the BA41 crew reported IMC at the time. Frederiction and Saint John were also reporting IMC at the time. Moncton ACC tracked the VFR aircraft but could not determine where the aircraft landed.
