Incident at GANDER INTL NL (CYQX) (Aerodrome, runway or taxiway shutdown)
Summary
1997-03-20: The Jetstar was departing Gander for St. Petersburg when two tires blew during the take off run. The aircraft stopped safely but was disabled on RWY 22. Defueling had to be carried out before the aircraft could be jacked and the tires replaced. RWY 22 was closed for an undetermined period of time. TSB closed.
