Incident at Wabush, Labrador

Summary

1997-03-20: The pilot was initially cleared at 6000' over Wabush enroute to Sept-Iles. At 20 miles north of Wabush the pilot reported at 8000'. He had not received clearance for this altitude change in controlled airspace. On station passage at Wabush the pilot flew outbound approx. 40 degree off track, conflicting with a Wabush departure. TSB evaluating.
