Summary
1997-03-20: Enroute from Bangor, Me. to St. John's, Nfld. the pilot encountered severe turbulence north of Halifax, N.S.. The aircraft descended from 7000 feet to 1800 feet and reported severe turbulence in CB activity. The aircraft landed safely at 0057. There were no sigmets available at the time of the incident.
