Incident at Stephenville, Nfld.
Summary
1997-03-18: On departure from Stephenville (enroute Gander, Nfld.) one engine developed an oil leak which prompted the pilot to shut down that engine and return for landing. TSB evaluating. UPDATE - Maintenance determined that the leak was caused by a faulty oil screen gasket. These gaskets were the subject of an AD issued some years before. TSB case closed.
