Summary

1997-03-18: The aircraft was on a local VFR flight when the hydraulic system failed. The crew lowered the landing gear manually, returned to the airport and landed without further incident. Maintenance determined that the nose gear actuator shaft had failed causing hydraulic fluid loss. TSB case closed.
