Incident at Halifax, N.S.
Summary
1997-03-18: While taxiing for departure the pilot reported smoke from #1 engine and requested that ERS respond. Inspection carried out on aircraft and flight departed at 0828z. TSB evaluating. - UPDATE - An inspection of the engine did not reveal any evidence of smoke or fire and maintenance suspect that what was observed was an oil mist coming from the engine breather. TSB case closed.
