Incident at Near Fredericton N.B.

Summary

1996-06-17: About 10 to 12 miles from Fredericton ARN 871 obseved C 172 in close proximity at 2500 feet. No TCAS alarm received. Student solo pilot from C 172 had requested departure for St Stephen but was thinking Saint John. TSB investigated and Air Nova has been briefed and student pilot was debriefed by instructor. Case closed
