Accident at Brigham (Cowansville)

Summary

1997-05-09: In spite of an engine malfunction that fixed itself during take-off, the pilot took off. The engine stopped at about 50 feet from the ground forcing the pilot to make an emergency landing. The pilot attempted to climb over some trees at the end of the runway, the plane stalled, crashed and incurred major damage. The pilot sustained a broken back.
