Incident at Gaspe

Summary

1996-05-17: The aircraft, VFR from St-Honore, reported 6 miles inbound for Gaspe. He then lost contact with Gaspe and found himself overhead Pabok. Gaspe FSS brought him around towards Gaspe with the help of the VHF Direction Finding (VHF/DF). The aircraft did not have functional VOR or DME. He landed at Gaspe at 1641Z. Weather: 250 - BKN, Vis: more than 15 miles.
