Incident at 4 miles NW of Lake Chavigny (Aerodrome - runway or taxiway surface condition)


1996-02-28: During the landing on the tundra approximately 4 miles NW of Lake Chavigny, the right landing gear sunk. The pilot reported damage to the right propeller and landing gear. The pilot advised Kuujuag FSS by radio and requested that they advise Air Wemindji in La Grande of their location if possible. TSB advised. The pilot and co-pilot were the only ones aboard. No injuries.
