Summary

1997-10-24: Aircraft at 16000ft in the vicinity of Enderby. Pilot requested lower altitude due to icing but was unable to maintain new altitude. Clear of cloud at 8000ft and continued VFR descent to get rid of ice. Cancelled IFR with Kelowna tower and landed at Penticton. Air BC ABL653 delayed 8 minutes.
