Incident at Prince George

Summary

1997-04-14: While on an IFR flight plan from Penticton to Prince George the pilot experienced navigation problems. On approach to Prince George the pilot used the VOR instead of the localizer and consequently missed the approach. Two more approaches were attempted; both missed. The pilot then requested a surveillance approach which was given. A successful landing was accomplished.
