1996-10-22: Williams Lake FSS heard a broken mayday call on the radio. Other a/c in the vicinity reported that C-FNVR had an engine failure and had landed successfully. At 17:40z the pilot called to advise Williams Lake FSS that he had landed 25 miles to the south and that no assistance was required.
