Incident at Collingwood, Ontario


1996-01-19: The aircraft was operating on a ferry permit for a flight to Toronto/Buttonville. Just after takeoff, the engine (Lycoming Model IO-540-K1A5) stopped. The pilot force landed in a field without damage to the aircraft. The engine has been test run on the ground after the occurrence and no mechanical problems have been found. Possible incorrect fuel tank selection caused the engine to stop. Ops. Impact -- unknown.
