Summary
1997-09-26: A total NFDPS failure resulted in extensive delays to all Toronto departures (up to one-and-one-half hours). Most delays were 45 minutes to one hours for approximately 30 aircraft. Ops. impact -- severe delays. Cause of NFDPS failure unknown to the tower. Damage -- under investigation -- total operational disruption.
