Summary
1997-09-15: While enroute the crew observed ECAS maintenance message indicating that the #1 engine FADEC was in disagreement with the throttle position. As a precautionary measure, the crew shutdown the #1 engine, proceeded to Toronto and landed without further incident. ERS was not requested. Ops. Impact -- unknown.
