Summary
1997-07-10: The student pilot was attempting his third takeoff in the recently purchased gyroplane. The pilot tried to lift off with low motor RPM. The blades began flapping, which resulted in several ground strikes. The gyroplane ended up approximately 20 feet off the runway where it nosed over. The pilot suffered minor injuries.
