Accident at Barry's Bay, Ontario
Summary
1997-04-14: The C170 was high and fast on the approach for landing on turf runway 29. Upon touchdown, the aircraft bounced and the right wing contacted the runway surface. The pilot retained control of the aircraft and brought it to a stop on the runway. There was no wind at the time of the occurrence. The right wing and aileron were substantially damaged. Ops.
