Incident at TORONTO / LESTER B. PEARSON INTL ON (CYYZ)
Summary
1996-10-25: The aircraft was on a direct flight from Toronto to Narita,Japan. Following the takeoff, several pieces of tire rubber were found on the runway. The largest of these was 8-10 inches wide and 8 feet long. This information was passed to the company and crew and it was decided to continue the flight to Narita. On arrival, ERS was requested and the landing was uneventful. The only damage found was a dent in the landing gear door when the aircraft was inspected at Narita. Ops. Impact -- unknown.
