Incident at TORONTO / LESTER B. PEARSON INTL ON (CYYZ)

Summary

1996-10-24: While in cruise flight at 6,000' ASL, the aircraft was struck on the nose by lightning. There was a large hole in the left aileron and a smaller hole in the elevator where the lightning exited. Both DC generators and the radar were knocked off line. The aircraft landed uneventfully. Ops. Impact -- unknown. From a TSB Initial Notification.
