Incident at TIMMINS / VICTOR M. POWER ON (CYTS)

Summary

1996-05-16: Aircraft departed airport and came back 27 minutes later without ever communicating with the Flight Service Station. Numerous attempts were made to contact the aircraft at departure and arrival phases, but no response was heard. Attempts to reach the pilot after the fact were also unsuccessful. A witness who was familiar with the aircraft stated that he suspected that the aircraft may not be airworthy. Timmins FSS advised the local air carrier inspector who indicated he would be investigating the matter. Ops. Impact -- Unknown.
