Incident at TORONTO / LESTER B. PEARSON INTL ON (CYYZ)

Summary

1996-04-22: While on descent to Toronto (LBPIA), the number three engine lost oil pressure (RR RB 211-22B). The crew shut down the engine and continued with the landing. There was no request for ERS to stand by for the landing. Maintenance reported an oil pump failure. The pump and filters were replaced and the aircraft was returned to service.
