Incident at TIMMINS / VICTOR M. POWER ON (CYTS)

Summary

1996-04-22: During the pre-flight check runup, a horn sounded, a gear light went out and the right main landing gear retracted while the pilot was performing a flap check. Both engines were running at the time. Damage -- right propeller, right wing, etc. No ELT activation was heard. No action or communication with Timmins FSS other than to report that an incident had occurred. The Airport Manager was advised who, in turn, advised ERS to check for fuel leaks or spills. Ops. impact -- unknown.
