Summary

1996-01-18: THE PILOT OF C-GBNF WAS CARRYING OUT A PRACTICE INSTRUMENT APPROACH AT PORTAGE LA PRAIRIE WHEN THE PILOT SELECTED GEAR DOWN THE GEAR UP LIGHT EXTINGUISHED BUT THE GEAR LIGHTS DID NOT ILLUMINATE. THE PILOT MANAGED TO LOWER THE GEAR MANUALLY. HOWEVER IT TOOK CONSIDERABLE FORCE TO DO SO. THE PILOT LANDED THE AIRCRAFT WITHOUT FURTHER INCIDENT. ERS STOOD BY.
